This course plan aims to provide participants with in-depth training on the use of hydraulic excavators, with emphasis on safety, good working practices, advanced techniques and equipment maintenance (8 hours of theory).

Introduction to the hydraulic excavator: components, operation, types of models – Safety standards and regulations in force for the use of the hydraulic excavator.

How the hydraulic excavator works

Basic Excavator Controls: Joystick, Pedals, Controls – Excavator Driving and Handling Techniques – Fundamentals of Digging, Loading, and Material Handling.

Advanced techniques for operating hydraulic excavators

Use of the various buckets and accessories of the hydraulic excavator – Excavating trenches, loading trucks, leveling land, etc. – Use of the hydraulic excavator in specific environments (e.g. restricted areas, slopes, etc.)
